Putting Minds In Motion

Helping People At Any Age Discover That They Are Built For Bliss!

BUILT FOR BLISS

The fundamental aim of all material at this web site; of all the groups and workshops; all the articles, blog, books, any audio or video material, is to bring home to the participants that we as human beings are basically built for bliss. What that means is that we are put together, physically, neurologically and most importantly psychologically and spiritually to be able to choose our way into a pattern of being and doing that will open us up the experience of bliss. This is an integral part of how we put our minds in motion to achieve and sustain happiness.

The material described on the site is aimed at people of all ages but is especially relevant for the Boomer and Boomer X generations. This is because of the very optimistic message that it brings them at their particular stage of life.

WHAT CAN I DO FOR FOR YOU and/or YOUR ORGANIZATION OR GROUP?

There are basically three areas I can help you with depending on where you are with yourself, and/or what the issues and strengths are in your group or organization.

I can help you overcome your unhappiness. I’ll do that by asking you questions and helping to change the focus of your attention and alter your beliefs. In a group setting, this quite naturally leads to increased friendship and cooperation among people on every level.
I can help you increase the already established momentum of your good feelings by introducing you to ongoing practices, especially Gratitude. That will quicken the motion your mind already has achieved and build an upward spiral that will give you greater access to your bliss. In a group setting this leads to superior outcomes in creativity and productivity.
I can help you establish practices of mindfulness both on the level of meditation and on the level of moment to moment living that will open up access to the bliss of living in the now. In a group setting, this leads to the kind of basic equanimity that allows for enhanced relational interactivity.

The inspiration I draw is from many sources: Socrates, the Buddha, the Christian and other traditions; so many thinkers, writers and philosophers down through the ages; the findings of Positive Psychology and  modern neuroscience; and of course, my own mentor Bruce Di Marsico. It is captured in these Latin sayings loosely taken from many of them:

Esse aude: Dare to Be!

Dare to be Free; dare to be alive and present in this moment!

Felix esse aude: Dare to Be Happy!

Dare to grasp your happiness now! Dare to move beyond your present beliefs and allow the deepest truths of your nature to emerge!

Amare aude: Dare to Love!

Dare to follow your deepest instincts and befriend yourself and others deeply, consistently and forever!

Sapere aude: Dare to Know!

Dare to open yourself up endlessly to whatever you can know. Understand that knowing is never wrong or dangerous. At the deepest level, to know is to be, to be free, to love and to be happy!
